I wish they made a tackle box that was safe with elaztech. I get the durability but i find my self ruining lots of plastics because i have no where to put them if i switch lures. I do love z man overall.

Bass are under the bait with a belly full. Stand up jig heads work great with a crayfish bait when their bellies are full. I had Musky 2 be precise breaking on big ball of shad just last week.

should the hookset be harder, i have found with a spinnerbait the fish hit it hard, with the chatterbait it more just gets heavy when im slow rolling it especially. what do you guys think

One of my favorite small lake I fish a lot has a crap ton of shinners in it, it can be tough fishing because so much bait but it holds some monsters in it. I thought it was really about finding those feeding windows to getting those big bites.

I agree. Once was fishing schoolers up shallow on the nearby river in April in Florida. Did well, caught about 30 bass in 4 hours, 1-2 every 15 minutes when they would bust the surface. My boat was about 15 yards offshore when a pontoon boat cut between me and the shore. I was pretty ticked, but soon realized that the bass stayed on schedule after that. I think that on high traffic fisheries, fish are so used to seeing hulls and the amount of sound in the water that they get used to it and it doesn’t bother them more than a short time, and running boats aren’t a threat. I think they are more bothered by changes in sounds than consistent sound, like when a boat gets loud then stops instead of one just driving by.

Great video!!!! I agree 100% with you!! Those boats do move water and cause a current. I've seen it when watching some professional tournaments. One angler actually had a boat pass him up & down a few times which caused the fish to bite!! I think he also won the tournament. Stay Safe & God Bless!!! 🤠👍

I won a kayak tourney recently and half of it was on the main lake during heavy recreational boat traffic. Boat traffic is even worse for kayaks. I knew I had to embrace it though. I noticed that the boat traffic positioned some of the fish to predictable places and some of the fish actually used it to pin baitfish to the surface and get the injured bait. In the middle of the boats I saw a huge blowup. Wish I could have gotten to it in time but I caught my fish that positioned to a ledge and to brush piles when it got bad.

I completely agree with you, my biggest bass of the year 8lb 10oz came on Memorial Day, 3pm , wake boats and pontoons everywhere, it's frustrating dealing with them because they mostly are very inconsiderate but can definitely help the bite

I ran into that a week and a half ago. P r e fishing for a tournament. Literally the whole lake itself was just one big mess of Bait fish . Never got a bite until I went through a culvert into a Backwater Creek with no Bait fish

The last two times I fished, the smaller bluegill were literally busting and churning the water of the entire pond I fished. Caught one 1.34 pound bass last time. Got skunked this evening. My first thought last time was that the bass were probably stuffed with bluegill to the point they weren’t going for my baits. I had heard of this in another video somewhere. Now I believe it. Good info!

Great swim jigs! I have all the different models and colors.

The "rebound" of the blade goin from side to side after hitting hard tungsten should give it a tighter or should I say faster "clack" as the blade is bouncing off the tungsten from side to side faster because if the harder tungsten head. I call it the "rebound sound", absolutely will get smoked!

I Have the jigs and like them. The one issue I have now and then is my line gets rapped up on the weed guard. Black and blue has been working great for me.

Cool looking swimjig and like the way it’s weighted but not sold on the weedguard. I wish they would have used the weedguard from the Picasso swimjig. I don’t see that weedguard lasting more than 5 fish down in Fl.

Originally from the UK, I've lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada since 1994 and have been using the cheb rig for many years!....I have caught many trout and whitefish from the Bow river and pike and walleye from some of the large southern Alberta lakes. I think this rig is successful because it does give the lure a "free-er" presentation and is not seen by the fish every day!

So true. When i saw the video title, dragging was the first thing that came to mind. Im in the Ozarks, and I've caught more fish dragging a shakeyhead than any other method. Thanks for the teaching and prayers for you and yours. I hope y'all are doing ok.

Love this style of video to help us learn forward-facing sonar. However, I'd recommend making the sonar image the main screen with you fishing in the smaller corner...detail is not as important when watching you as when watching the sonar screen. Thanks for making these types of video!

So I imagine the Z-man stuff excels with a drag as you get some additional motion when the drag is stopped and the lure props itself up right. Of the presentations mentioned, Which is your favorite for the drag and what is your favorite bait When doing that presentation?
